[HLMainPic] A memoir of Lt. Cecil Lerrier Giffard, who was born in Guernsey in 1868 &, following service in the Militia, was commissioned in the 58th (2nd Bn. Northampstonshire Regt.) in 1890. He served in India with his regiment until KiA by a sniper's bullet during the Tirah campaign on 6th Nov. 1897 with the 48th (1st Northamptonshire). Includes extracts from his diaries & letters in India including the Tirah campaign.
